Grandma's Elbow Macaroni with Tomatoes and Cheese
This is my comfort food. My mother would make this for me as a child and it still remains one of my favorite dishes.
Ingredients:
1/2 box of Elbow Macaroni
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 Tbs butter
salt & pepper
4 slices American Cheese
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions, and drain. Put in a casserole dish. Stir in butter until melted. Add tomatoes (do not drain) and salt and pepper to taste. Top with cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts.
